Our Manual Handling Training is a hands-on workshop designed to equip aged care workers, nurses, support staff, and domestic carers with the practical skills and knowledge needed to carry out manual handling tasks safely and confidently in the workplace across Aged Care, Home Care and Disability industry.
Training Location: Level 1, 12 Newcastle Street, Perth WA 6000.
This course includes identifying risky manual tasks, practicing safe handling techniques, using hoists and slide sheets, assisting with walking, transferring between bed and chair, managing falls, and adhering to mobility care plans.
Face-to-Face Delivery: This training involves physical activities that may pose health and safety risks. Participants unable to meet the physical requirements of the assessment tasks will not receive a Certificate of Completion.

Please be aware that no refunds will be issued for missed or unattended scheduled workshops. Aroha College reserves the right to cancel any training sessions if enrolment numbers are too low to proceed. To ensure a high-quality learning experience, each workshop requires a minimum number of participants.
If a session is cancelled due to insufficient enrolment, all registered students will receive notification via email or phone at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. We appreciate your understanding and recommend confirming your availability before booking.
