Aroha College has identified an opportunity in delivering HLTAID011 Provide First Aid in the local community of Perth. The delivery of the training will support the local community with increasing their confidence that staff in these areas are trained in first aid in case of emergencies.
The typical student for HLTAID011-Provide First Aid will be existing working personnel or school leavers who are 18 years old or above. Aroha College target clients are existing workers with over 3 years’ experience in different industries. They will be taking the course to either upgrade their skills and knowledge or as part of their job requirements.
The year 12 graduates who will enrol in this course will gain the first aid knowledge and skills to obtain job opportunities in the workplace.
Aroha College have invested to establish a great learning environment, and our qualified trainers who are experts in healthcare and emergency sector will work alongside the students to understand their training needs and provide support to them to complete the course successfully.

This unit of competency will be delivered in 14 hours
Upon successful completion, students may obtain credit towards a range of qualifications at Certificate IV and Diploma levels in HLT training packages.
Alternatively, student may enter the workforce in roles such as first aid responder in a range of occupations from corporate, hospitality and council workers to occupations that may have high risk of injury such as lifeguards in swimming pools, trades/electrical or medical.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification.
